New Preceptors need ongoing care and support to succeed in their new role. Included with the Academy training materials is access to issues of Preceptor News, a monthly newsletter that provides practical advice and helpful hints for preceptors who attend the Academy. The Newsletters have been created in Word format. The user will need to add the date at the top of the newsletter before sending it out each month. There is also space at the bottom of the newsletter to place personal information (e.g., name of your organization or a key contact person). A newsletter template also is included to permit the user to create other newsletters in the future. We recommend sending Preceptor News electronically via e-mail to the preceptors – please convert the final Word document to a PDF format before actual distribution.
